Friday night Dave and I went to a "newcomers" dinner at church. Every couple of months the church has a dinner for all the newer folks so that they can meet each other, get a sense of the church's goals and purpose, and meet the staff and leadership. We had already decided we were settling at this place, but Friday night provided serious confirmation. I can't explain it, I just feel at home. Do you know what I mean? Anyway, I am way excited to start becoming involved and getting to know people. Between finding a church home, and the fact that my parents are moving up here really soon, Roseville is slowly becoming home!
