After a long absence, this Heckler has an announcement to make..... Are you ready? It involves less sleep, hyperactivity, and more mess in the house.....can you guess? And, no, it's not a baby (whew, not ready for that yet!). What could it be, you ask? Ah, nothing less than ANOTHER Beagle puppy. Crazy? Yes. Fun? Absolutely.

Here's the story of how we ended up with two 6 month old beagles. We bought Chloe from a woman we met when we were looking through model homes in our area. Her dogs, Lucy and Lucky, had just had puppies and she still had some for sale. So, after some thought, we adopted Chloe. Well, we became friends with Heather, the woman we bought Chloe from, and we meet her and a bunch of other beagle owners at the dog park each week. Some of Chloe's sisters from her litter and a prior litter always show up. One of the puppies from Chloe's litter, Maggie, would often come with her owner Taylor. Chloe and Maggie always got along really well. A couple of weeks ago Heather told us that Taylor was thinking of giving Maggie back because she just couldn't handle her energy. Long and short of it is that we told Heather we'd take Maggie if that happened... and it did. So, as of Friday night, we have our two beagle girls -- Maggie and Chloe.
