I've Hit the Big Time

On Monday I get to do my first appellate court oral argument. This is a big deal. And to top it off it's in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. For those wondering, the federal circuit courts (including the notoriously liberal and wacky Ninth) are the courts just under the United States Supreme Court. To say that I'm nervous is a slight understatment. But I'm also excited. Some lawyers wait their whole career to argue before the Ninth. Here's hoping that my morning sickness doesn't rear its ugly head in the midst of my argument....
